Who Kiwi is and what it actually does

Kiwi Events arranges, sells and coordinates party rentals in Miami-Dade County. Kiwi does not own the equipment that gets set up at your party.

The equipment is supplied, delivered, installed and collected by an independent operator with current licensing and insurance. That operator is identified by name in your booking confirmation before you pay anything. Kiwi checks their licence and certificate of insurance before every event.

By booking with Kiwi you also accept the safety and use conditions of the operator named in your confirmation, which are provided to you along with it.

Prices and what they include

The prices shown on this site are indicative and always displayed as “from”. The price for your party is closed in writing before you pay anything and depends on the equipment, date, duration and delivery area.

The closed price includes delivery, setup, anchoring appropriate to the surface, and collection. If a generator is needed because there is no outlet within 100 feet, you are told in the closed price, not afterwards.

The closed price is what you pay. Kiwi does not add new charges on the day of the event. If you request something additional on the day, it is quoted and agreed before it is supplied.

Booking, deposit and balance

The date is held with a deposit of 30% of the closed price. The deposit is non-refundable, but converts into credit in your favour for 12 months if the party has to be cancelled or moved.

The balance is due no later than 3 days before the event. The crew delivering the equipment does not take payment on site.

Weather

Inflatables are not set up in electrical storms or high wind. This is not a commercial decision: it is the operator’s and the manufacturer’s safety rule, and it is not negotiated on the day.

If the weather prevents setup, the date is moved and your deposit stays fully in your favour for 12 months. Kiwi warns you as soon as the forecast makes it likely, not on the day itself.

If your party is at a public park, note that the park reservation has its own weather policy, separate from ours and set by the county or the city.

What we need from you

That the space where the equipment goes is clear and accessible at the agreed time, with a clear passage of at least 48 inches to the setup spot.

That the information you give us about the site — surface, access, power outlet, overhead obstacles — is accurate. If on arrival the site does not allow a safe setup and it cannot be resolved, it counts as a cancellation with less than 3 days’ notice.

That a responsible adult supervises use of the equipment throughout the party. The operator sets up, checks and leaves; supervision of the children during the event is yours.

Liability

The equipment, its condition, its installation and its insurance are the responsibility of the licensed operator identified in your confirmation, who supplies and installs it. Kiwi answers for what Kiwi controls: coordination, the information we give you, the agreed price, and verifying that the operator holds current licensing and insurance.

Before the event you are given the operator’s waiver and use conditions. Their name, licence and coverage appear there.

Parties at public parks

If your party is at a park, the space reservation, its fees and its permits are a contract between you and the county or city, not with Kiwi. We check that the operator is registered where they need to be and tell you what that park requires, but you make the reservation.

The information about park rules and fees we publish on this site comes from official sources and carries its consultation date. Public bodies change them without notifying us: always confirm with your park.
