Tent
Tents for weddings and events in Miami
from $225 a day
In Miami a tent is not decoration. It decides whether the party carries on when the rain lands at four, and whether anyone can stand being outside in September. Tell us how many are coming and how you want them seated, and we tell you the size.

What to know
- What size do I need for my guest count?
- The trade rule goes by square feet per person: standing, cocktail style, 6 to 8; seated at round tables with service, 12 to 15. A hundred seated guests works out to a 20 by 60 tent, or two 20 by 30s. If there is also a dance floor, a bar or a dessert table, that space is added on top — the mistake that leaves most parties cramped.
- What does a wedding tent really cost?
- The tent itself is the cheap part. A 20 by 40 frame seating 60 to 80 goes on its own; what moves the number is sidewalls if it has to be closed in, lighting, and flooring if the grass is soft. Set up and complete, a mid-sized Miami wedding lands between $1,200 and $3,000. We break it down piece by piece before you book anything.
- Does it hold up to Miami wind and rain?
- A properly anchored tent handles an afternoon downpour fine, which is just the weather here from June to October. High wind is the one that does not hold: with a storm warning the setup moves or comes down, same as with inflatables, and that is the operator’s call on safety. On concrete it goes with weights and on grass with stakes, and that changes how long setup takes.
- When does it need to go up?
- The day before whenever the venue allows it, especially for a large tent or one with lighting and flooring. A wedding tent can go up the same morning, but that leaves no margin if the ground turns out to be a problem. For a county park, add the opening hours and the requirement that the operator be on the registered vendor list.
